Its herbaceous notes mingle in a perfect marriage of flavors, and each evokes a characteristic of Umbria, our Land, to which we are grateful. It comes from the fusion of what we believe represent the best Umbrian cultivars, which give Umbro its explosion of herbaceous fragrances on tasting: intense like Muraiolo and Nostrale di Rigali, aromatic like the Frantoio cultivar and delicate like Leccino and Dolce Agogia. Like any carefully guarded and handed down family recipe, we reveal some of the ingredients, but not their amounts!Its herbaceous notes blend into a harmony of flavors that evoke the essence of our land, to which it is dedicated.

How we produce it

Harvested strictly by hand in advance the degree of ripeness. Crushing in traditional mill only by mechanical procedures with cold pressing, without exceeding 20°C to obtain the highest quality. On the same day as pressing, the oil is filtered to ensure a longer shelf life. It is stored in tanks under nitrogen until bottling.

Tasting notes

It gives off refined and precise aromas, as intense as they are harmonious. Herbaceous notes stand out. The bitter and spicy notes blend in a marriage of balance and pleasantness. On tasting, the flavors of Umbria are released in a mix of different notes.

Recommended pairings

Raw seasonings on rich and flavorful dishes. Legume soups, grilled meats and vegetables.
